How many syringes are needed for cheek filler?
We always start with the smallest amount possible. This could be 1/2 to 1 syringe of dermal filler. 1 syringe is 1ml. A teaspoon is 5ml.
Does cheek filler look natural?
When placed strategically, cheek filler integrates into natural structure and should not appear overdone, or seen at all in our opinion. It should seamlessly enhance the overall look of your face- never distract.
Is cheek filler painful?
A numbing agent is typically used to minimize discomfort during treatment which can feel like small pinches and pressure.
Can cheek filler lift the face?
Cheek filler can not "lift" the face. Cheek filler can create a very subtle improvement around the lower face by pulling some fallen skin via restoring midface support from volume loss, but it does not replace surgical or nonsurgical lifting procedures like our threadlift procedure. Too much cheek filler can actually drag the facedown with excess weight.
