Overview

Crepey skin

Crepey skin is thin, finely wrinkled skin that looks a little like crepe paper. It often appears under the eyes, on the neck and chest, the upper arms and the backs of the hands, as collagen, elastin and hydration decline with age and sun exposure.

We treat crepey skin by rebuilding its structure. SkinPen microneedling stimulates new collagen and elastin, while skin boosters add deep hydration that makes thin skin look plumper and smoother.

Results are gradual and natural, with skin that looks firmer and less fragile over a few months.

FAQ

Good questions

Is crepey skin the same as sagging?

Not quite. Crepey skin is about the quality and thickness of the skin. Sagging is about loss of support underneath, which may need a different treatment such as a thread lift.

How many microneedling sessions will I need?

Most plans include three to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. Collagen keeps building for months after your last session, so results continue to improve over time.

Is there downtime?

Expect redness similar to a mild sunburn for one to three days. Most clients return to work the next day, and makeup can usually be worn after 24 hours.

Is microneedling safe for darker skin?

Yes. Microneedling does not rely on heat or light, so it is a safe option for all skin tones when performed with the right technique and aftercare.

Individual results vary. Every treatment follows a consultation and assessment.
