Fat dissolving injections can refine smaller saddlebag areas by permanently destroying a portion of the fat cells. Larger areas may need more sessions, or a surgical option may be more efficient, and we will tell you honestly which applies to you.

An honest note
Kybella (sold in Canada as Belkyra) is approved by Health Canada for fat under the chin. Using it on the body is considered off label, which means it is a medical decision made case by case. We explain this clearly at your consultation so you can decide with all the facts.
Fat dissolving is not a weight loss treatment. It works best for people who are close to their goal weight and want to refine a small area that has not changed with diet and exercise.
Good questions
How many sessions will I need?
Most outer thigh plans take two to four sessions spaced about six weeks apart. The exact number depends on the size of the area and how your body responds, and we review progress at every visit.
Does it hurt?
You will feel a warm, stinging sensation for several minutes after the injections. We apply cooling and numbing where appropriate to keep you comfortable.
What is the downtime?
Swelling, tenderness, bruising and a firm or numb feeling in the area are common for one to two weeks. Most clients return to work the next day and wear loose clothing while the swelling settles.
Are the results permanent?
Fat cells that are destroyed do not come back. Remaining fat cells can still grow with weight gain, so a stable weight helps you keep your result.
Is this the same as treating cellulite?
No. Fat dissolving reduces fat volume. Cellulite is related to the structure of the skin and connective tissue, so it needs a different approach.
