Stretch marks
Stretch marks form when the skin stretches faster than it can adapt, for example during pregnancy, growth spurts, weight changes or muscle building. Newer marks often look red or purple, while older marks fade to silver or white with a slightly sunken texture.
SkinPen microneedling creates tiny, controlled channels in the skin that trigger your body's own repair process. Over a series of sessions, new collagen and elastin help the marks look flatter, smoother and closer to your natural skin colour.

Good questions
Do newer or older stretch marks respond better?
Newer, red or purple marks often respond faster, but older silver marks can still improve, usually with more sessions.
How many sessions will I need?
Most clients need four to six sessions. Improvement continues for several months after the final treatment.
Is there downtime?
Expect redness similar to a mild sunburn for one to three days. Most clients return to work the next day, and makeup can usually be worn after 24 hours.
Is microneedling safe for darker skin?
Yes. Microneedling does not rely on heat or light, so it is a safe option for all skin tones when performed with the right technique and aftercare.
